Description:

The Food and Nutrition Service announces a grant opportunity to submit applications for the FY 2005 WIC Special Project Grant Program. This announcement is open to all 88 WIC State Agencies responsible for administering WIC in the States, Territories and Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs).
The focus area for the FY 2005 Program is Revitalizing Quality Nutrition Services in WIC through effective counseling methods. The purpose of this grant program is to identify, evaluate, enhance and strengthen the effectiveness of WIC nutrition services with an emphasis on counseling methods that demonstrate effectiveness in specific WIC settings and/or WIC populations.
